Frequently asked questions

Is this tool free?

Yes. Calchemy tools are free to use in your browser.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The tools are designed to run locally in your browser unless clearly stated otherwise.

How is this calculated?

Your exact age in Earth days is divided by each planet's orbital period (how long it takes to go around the Sun), also measured in Earth days.

Why am I hundreds of years old on Mercury?

Mercury orbits the Sun in about 88 Earth days, so a 'Mercury year' is much shorter than an Earth year - meaning your age in Mercury years is much higher than your Earth age.
