What do the sliders control?
Horizontal and vertical offset move the shadow, blur softens its edge, and spread grows or shrinks it before blurring - the same parameters as the CSS box-shadow property.
What does the inset option do?
It flips the shadow to sit inside the element's border instead of outside it, for a pressed-in look.
