Does this work for a washer and dryer running together?
This version schedules loads running one after another through a single machine, for example several washing machine loads back to back. It doesn't yet plan overlapping wash-then-dry pipelines across two machines.
What is the gap between loads for?
It adds a short buffer between cycles to account for unloading and reloading the machine.
