What counts as a palindrome date?
A date whose digits read the same forwards and backwards once written out in your chosen format - for example 02/02/2020 in DD/MM/YYYY format.
Why does the result change with the date format?
Because the digit string is different in each format (DD-MM-YYYY, MM-DD-YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD), a date can be a palindrome in one format but not another.
